Now in it’s 17th year, the family-friendly literary and arts festival has become an eagerly anticipated annual event for Aylesbury town centre, attracting visitors with interests in all areas of the arts. Originally inspired by Roald Dahl, children’s literature continues to be an integral part of the traditional and much-loved parade as well as for WhizzFizzFest in its entirety.
Last year’s WhizzFizzFest will be hard to beat with celebrity guests such as Dame Darcey Bussell, Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill and Tony Hadley headlining the festival, along with four well-known children’s authors, David Solomons, Andy Riley, Andrew Clover and Steve Antony, however we’re determined to impress festival-goers again!
WhizzFizzFest is presented by Aylesbury Vale District Council (AVDC).
